Entry Fees for Half Marathon & 5k:
Early Registration: By November 17th
$25 Member of any YMCA of NWNC
$30 Potential members
Late Registration: November 18th-December 3rd
$35 All participants
Day of the Race Registration: December 4th
$40 All participants
Fun Run Registration:
$10 per child (they get t-shirt, ribbon & race bib)
Arrive Saturday morning at 7:45 am to run around Hanes Park.
Race Start Times:
8:00 am: Fun Run
8:15 am: Half Marathon
8:35 am: 5k
Registration & Packet Pick-up:
Friday, Dec. 3 from 12 – 7:30 pm in the gym
Saturday, Dec. 4 from 6:30 am- 7:45 am in the gym
Mistletoe Race Shirts:
27th Annual Race Shirts are guaranteed to the first 2000 people to register.
5k: 1st & 2nd miles
Half: 1st, 3rd, 9th & 12th miles
The 5K and Half Marathon courses are both designed by Twin City Track Club. Both courses are USATF certified.
5k: 2 water stations
Half: 6 water stations w/ Powerade at the Wake Forest water station
Water will also be available at the Finish Line.
Restrooms, changing & shower facilities are available at the William G. White, Jr. Family YMCA. Porta Johns are also availabe at the Finish Line and outside the YMCA.
Childcare is provided for children over 3 months of age. Parents need to reserve a spot for their child by calling the Adult Welcome Center at (336) 721-2100.
After Race Party:
We have a great after race party starting at 9:00 when the first runners come back in. We have a DJ, lots of food, door prizes & awards!
Awards will be given out after each race. No duplicate awards will be given. Awards will be given to the top 3 male & females of each race. Age division awards; 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
5k awards ceremony will begin at 10 am
Half Marathon awards ceremony will begin at 11:30 am.

Where does the money go?
With the help of our sponsors and individuals, all proceeds from this event enable families and individuals in the Winston Salem area to participate in Membership, Teen Advancement, Camp, Mentoring, After School, Sports & Aquatics programs of the YMCA that would otherwise be outside of their financial capability.
