God’s Radical Grace

Maybe you are one who has heard that Jesus is a hard task master. Maybe you are one who has heard that you have to be perfect to be loved by Jesus. Maybe you are one who has heard all the things that you can’t do and be a follower of Christ. Maybe you have heard so many things that have turned you off that you just quit seeking to find out who Jesus really is.

Maybe you have friends and family members, co-workers that constantly live in turmoil and feel they have no hope. Maybe you have these people in your life who think they are on top of the world and they don’t need Jesus in their lives.

Maybe you have come to church looking and searching for forgiveness and found judgement. Maybe you have come to church looking for a place to belong and found that you didn’t fit in. Maybe you have come to church expecting to be loved and instead you were shunned.

If any of these describe you or anyone that you know, you need to come to Out of the Box Worship Center this Sunday June 5th. The message titles are as follows.

June 5th The Younger Child

June 12th The Older Child

June 19th The Father

June 26th What happens when the Party is over?

This series is based on Luke 15:11-32, the Parable most often referred to as the Prodigal Son passage. I am sure you have heard this passage preached before, maybe a hundred times?

Well, you need to hear what I have to say about this story, but more importantly what the Bible has to say, because it’s really not about the younger brother. Not exactly.

This Sunday, I want you to invite your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to Church. Bring people who don’t know God, bring people who don’t like the God they have heard about, bring people who feel they have missed the mark in pleasing God. I promise there will be something for everyone.

If you are someone who sees God as a God of judgment and anger, this sermon is going to turn your thinking upside down .

Did you see the picture I put up the other day called “Prodigal daughter”? I have been thinking a lot about that story lately and not just how I feel like that, but about the love that my Father has for me. So this is perfect timing! Imagine that?! God is soooo Good.
