Samuel bought a new Spider Man Fishing rod with some of his birthday money and he has begged to go fishing. I wish you could have seen his excitement when I told him we were getting ready to go. He danced and laughed. We have a pond on our family property and many years ago my brother and I would fish in a neighbor’s pond and bring what we caught to our pond. We caught several large mouth bass, lots of brim, and a couple of small catfish. I knew there was still fish in our little pond but I had no idea there were catfish this size. If this is any indication, there may be some as big as me, scary.
Anyway, Samuel caught this one on his first cast, on a hotdog. Amazing and you can see the joy in his face.
