This is a book that I will recommend to almost anyone, especially those who want no-nonsense, down to earth, just plain truth. I was thinking after reading this book that I read a lot and many times books are made up of a lot of fluff and a little bit of substance. Not this book, this one is made up of almost total substance.
If you know Perry and his ministry, you know that he is a guy who just says it like it is and lots of times people get mad. I always say, “You will know the truth and the truth will make you mad.” I don’t always like the way Perry says things, there are times when I say to myself, “I wouldn’t have said that the same way Perry just said it.” That’s why I like Perry, he is a man of God who is helping change the world and not too worried about what others think of his way of doing it.
This is a book that you can recommend to your friends who do not have a relationship with Christ, especially if they are searching for the truth. It is a book that doesn’t use big theological words, anyone can read it and be blessed. Perry shares a lot of stories from his life and that helps us to know him a lot better and where he comes from in his teaching style. The book is built around the life of David and how God used a man. That’s right a man, not a super hero, not a perfect person, just a man, loved of God, who also loved God. You and I can learn and grow with the aid of this new book by Perry Noble.
