Andy Stanley is someone that I have come to respect and I love to listen to him concerning leadership in the church. Andy has written a book that is going to be very hard for a lot of people to read but it is a book that every church board should read through, pray through, and have serious discussion. We are living in a time when the un-churched are not knocking the doors down in our traditional churches. We have to be honest and take a serious, honest look at where we are and where we need to go.
This book asks the question, “Are we creating worship services for churched people or un-churched people? If all we are interested in is keeping the people we have happy, then we can keep doing the things we have been doing for the past 20, 30, 50 years. If we want to reach people who are not in church then we have to make some changes.
