Wow, what an awesome way to start the New Year! It was a blessed Sunday at Out of the Box. From the worship to the response to the message. Today we started a new series called “DANGER.” Several of you came to me after both services to say, “This is just what I needed to hear, Thank You.”
And I want to say thank you!
It is a joy to be the pastor of a group of people who desire to grow and mature in their relationship with the Creator of the Universe. I believe it is the best calling in the world.
Here are some take aways from this morning.
#1. Get involved in more than Sunday morning. We will provide ways for you to be involved but we can’t do it for you. One of the best ways you can get involved is to read the Bible cover to cover with us this year. Remember, it takes 15 minutes a day to read it and it will make a huge impact on your life and relationship to Christ. Here is the link to the Facebook group “Read Me” where you can posts your comments on the daily reading, ask questions that anyone in the group can speak to and just share what you are learning.

We are reading the Old/New Testament Plan at Bible Gateway Reading Plans you can download their Bible App for your smart phone and read or have the Bible read to you each day. And it’s FREE!
#2. You now have the opportunity to worship at OOTBWC two times every week. Starting this Wednesday evening at 7pm, come to Recovery At Hillsville. Everyone is welcome and we all have an Addiction, an addiction to SIN. Come and worship with us. We will start a series this week called “Life Traps.”
#3. Bible 101 is a Bible Study at OOTBWC every Sunday morning at 11:15am and it meets upstairs at the Worship Center. Come worship at 10am and then study through the Bible a Book at a time.
#4. We are planning Camping Trips, 4 Wheeling Trips, Fishing Trips, Women’s Events, New Life Groups and Bible Studies. Just get involved.

There is a constant battle between our sinful human nature and our spiritual nature. The one who wins is the one we feed the most.
