Resources for Bible Study

One of my favorite things to do as a Pastor is study to teach others. I love to learn new things and to then share them with others. As you know if you have known me any time at all, I have many resources. I wish that I could say they are all great ones but the truth is, if I could get even half of the money back that I have spent on some of them I would take it before you changed your mind.

Another favorite thing is when people come to me with questions about the Bible. It is never a bother. That is what I do. Thank you for growing.

Anyway, here are three resources that anyone would benefit from. From the person who has been a Christian forever to the one who is just getting started with Bible Study.

How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth: by Gordon D. Fee

This was one of the books I found while in my first year of seminary and it is one of the best resources I have used.

How to Read the Bible Book by Book: A Guided Tour by Gordon D. Fee

This is a great one as well. I have only read sections in this one as I have needed them. It is another first class resource.

How to Choose a Translation for All Its Worth: A Guide to Understanding and Using Bible Versions by Gordon D. Fee

This one is fairly new and I haven’t read it. I have read the reviews and they are outstanding, I will recommend based on the fact that I know Fee’s work and it is top rate.
