Good Health is a Wonderful thing! We all know that an active lifestyle adds years of quality life!
On October 18th 2008 @ 10am in Galax, Come Run the Twin County Regional Healthcare Galax Autumn Days 5K RUN.
I have made a challenge to all members of The First United Methodist Church Hillsville, if you beat me, I will donate $10.00 to the Youth Ministry. That is not a lot of money unless a lot of people come out and beat me.
Mike Morris has taken the challenge and that makes me want to challenge other clergy in the area. I think one of the greatest testimonies we can have is to be physically fit, to watch what we eat and to live a healthy lifestyle.

For those who don’t feel like you can RUN then WALK
I will even go one further, if you take this challenge, let me know so I will know how to plan and we will come back to the church and I will grill burgers for everybody. We can have a great time of Exercise, Food, Fellowship and Great Fun. I am that interested in your Good Health.
Several of the Youth of FUMC have taken the challenge, The Gator King Family has taken the challenge, how about you? This may just be your start to a more healthy life.
