The First Annual Blaze 5K was held this past Saturday in Wytheville. My nephew Dustin had his best clock time ever, there was a little issue with where the final cone was placed so the time is not correct. However it was still his fastest time. Our own Steve Martin ran his FIRST 5K and he beat me, way to go Steve. There are several folks here that we know. Brian Burch is one of our Holson Conference Clergy members, he his son ran. Mom and Sussie ran and mom did better on her time, she is doing a lot of training.
Way to go runners, I can’t wait until the Galax 5K. Maybe my sloooooooow time will encourage more people to run and attempt to beat me.
