Misty and I went to breakfast with Mike and his family this morning and Christopher rode home with me. As we were riding along Christopher was talking to me more than he ever has or at least I could understand more of it. Then he started to get really tickled and he would just break out into a laugh and we did that for a couple of miles. I reflected back to when I found out Mike was going to be a daddy and I remember that I loved Christopher even before I knew him. I remember being so excited about his birth and imagining what he would look like and what his personality would be like.
Christopher is everything that I anticipated and so much more, I loved him even before I knew him. I can only imagine how I am loved by God. Before He formed me in my mother’s womb, He knew me and no doubt He loved me. I hope that one day when I see Jesus face to face, he will say, you are everything and more that I knew you would be.
If I love Christopher like that, even before I met him, how much does God love us?
