I have been looking back at past Marathon and Half Marathon finish times and it is a bit depressing. There was a time when I could run 13.1 miles in under 1:40 and yesterday I came in at 2:03. When I was running my best clock times I was training between 36 and 40 miles every week. Currently I do good to train between 10 and 20 each week. With Seminary, Marriage, and Children, I have put on a few pounds and that doesn’t help either. I have made a commitment and plan to work hard to get back in the best running shape ever.
