It is official. The Carroll County School System will be using Out of the Box as a Tutoring Site for students for the 2009-2010 School Year. The times will be from 3:30pm to 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday each week. Parents will be able to pick their youth up at OOTB or they can ride the activity bus which will pick up downtown @ 6pm.
We are rallying volunteers who will come to OOTB and represent from our church, not to do the tutoring, that will be handled by teachers from the public school system. Our volunteers will be there to assist with any needs the youth may have as well as the tutors.
If you would like to fill a 2.5 hour time slot contact me ASAP as the tutoring starts one week from today. This is a great opportunity for us to give back to our community and also to work with youth in our area.
