I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Pastor Rudy for the first time in person today. I am excited about what God is going to do through this time of Rudy being in Holston Conference with us. We need a passion and a compassion for the lost in this world. My prayer is that we will catch a burden and a vision this weekend here at Cokesbury Center in Knoxville. If you are in the area I hope you will take the opportunity to join us.
Rudy and his wife Juanita Co-Pastor St. John’s United Methodist Church in Downtown Houston Texas, a church that has grown under their leadership from nine in 1992 to more than 9000 today in 2010. Rudy blessed me with the gift of his “Touch” and you guessed it, I am already reading it.
Can’t wait to see what God does through our time in Knoxville with Pastor Rudy and Bob Pierson.
