We bought a Vacation Home

Well, it’s a Pop Up Camper and we love it. We debated for weeks about buying one and it came down to one thing, it is an investment in our family. We got a great deal in it from some great people who treated it well and it is like new, it’s a 2003. We took our first overnight this past Friday to the Mountains of West Virginia. We have friends who stay in a campground there and ride 4 wheeler’s, this is our second time there to ride.

We actually spent less on the camper than one could spend on a nice condo at the beach for a week and we will hopefully use this many times. It is roomy, the beds are great, and the kids love it. It is so much better than a tent and really easy to pull, we are very happy with it. The pictures below are of the camper and the campground where we stayed and rode. By the way, being in the mountains is the best way we have found to disconnect from the NOISE and just spend time as family and friends. The phones will not work and there is no internet so there is no temptation to be distracted.

We camped with a pop up for years and loved it. We stocked it and had it ready to go Friday after work. We’d be in the cool mountains from Hot Lanta in about 2 hours and set up primitive in 30 minutes. The best addition we ever made to our camper was a screen room with a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet. That became our living space with the camper used for preparing food and sleeping. I hope your and your family have a lot of fun with it. Can’t wait to get another one for ourselves.

Ronnie – Good for you & your family! I love that you invested in them and time away and unplugged! Now, schedule some times, with reminders, to get out and use it lots! Excited for you all.
