I don’t post many blogs that lead you away from my blog to someone else but this is really something that I would love to hear your thoughts on. Just for the record, I love what God has called me to do, to be a pastor. However, I understand everything in this post by Bill Reichart.

Ronnie,
This is discouraging and I am sorry if you have ever experienced any of these issues listed in this article and I hope that you know that you can always count on me for prayers and support. You are a wonderful Pastor and friend and I am thankful everyday for you and my Church. I hate to think where I would be today if it weren’t for the spiritual nourishment I have received from you and your messages. We are not perfect, but, God is putting us back together and you are leading us! Thank you, Pastor, for everything you do for all of us.
Glory to God.

With 30 years of Corporate leadership experience I’ve learned that I can only lead my congregation if I’m following the Holy Spirit. If I try to please anyone other than God I’m wasting time and resources. God called me to lead His children into a deeper relationship with Him using the gifts of Love and Compassion He has blessed me with.
It’s not about me, it’s not about now. It’s all about God and it’s all about eternity.
