I have been reading after and listening to Chuck Swindoll teach the Bible for many years. In fact, he is one of the first preachers to really inspire me in my Christian life. This book is several years old but still great. I recently preached a 4 week series from the Book of Nehemiah and this book was very insightful.
Swindoll is a great story-teller and a great resource for illustrations. This book takes an in-depth look at the story of Nehemiah and it is different from every other resource I found on the story of Nehemiah.
