Wow, 2012 is almost over and I stand in Awe of what God has done, is doing, and will do yet. 276 AWESOME people in worship and remember, every number has a name, every name has a story, and every story matters to God. You matter to God! You matter to OOTBWC, and You matter to me.
The music today was OVER THE TOP! A drum line, a banjo, and the best musicians around. If you were there you saw the joy on people’s faces. If you were there you sensed the presence of Holy Spirit. If you were there then you know that His house was full today.
I am glad that God has often changed my plans and I am glad that I have followed Him to this point. I look back and I realize that my life would have been totally different if I had stayed put when God said to move. If I had said no, who knows what my family would be like, who knows if I would have had children, who knows if I would be married to Misty. All I know is that the path that God laid out before me has led me to blessing. The path laid out before me also led me to Out Of The Box Worship Center.
There were people today who left encouraged, there were people who left challenged, there were people who left changed. When God messes up our plans, he is trying to get our attention. Let’s make a commitment to spend time listening to Him every day. When God messes up your plans it’s because he has a better plan, not an easier plan and likely a much harder plan. Anything worth doing is going to be worth the struggle and we have learned it is in the struggle that God is molding us into who He wants us to be. Finally, when God messes up our plans, He wants us to trust Him. Can I just say from experience, you can trust Him.
It is my prayer that you will step out in faith and boldly go where God has been leading you to go.
