A letter from Pastor Ronnie to Out Of The Box WC – January 20th, 2013

Hello OOTBWC Family,

Oh how we missed being in Hillsville on Sunday morning. It is great to get away and be with people from the family and experience something like we have this weekend but it is always hard being away. Misty, the boys, and I had the awesome opportunity to travel with 60 others associated with our church to Gatlinburg Tennessee this weekend. We attended “Resurrection” a ministry to youth where several thousand teens come every year and get revived and excited. It was an outstanding conference as always and I really loved the messages preached by Rev. Lisa Yebuah. It is amazing as last week I spoke about “getting a word from God” and all of Lisa’s messages this weekend led to getting a word from God, hearing God’s voice. It was really amazing.

It is always really special during these times also because it gives me the opportunity to get to know people better. It’s just easier for some reason when you are away from home to get to know people. I always grow closer to the youth and the adults on trips like these and this weekend was no different. We have an awesome group of tweens, teens, college students, and adults.

Misty and the boys hung out at the hotel and when sessions were out I took the boys swimming, lets just say that I am tired and ready for a restful day tomorrow.

On Sunday afternoon the rest of the group headed home and Misty and I attended the 1st Annual Rez Kidz and it was AWESOME. What a great job Jason and Holly Roe did in putting this ministry together. You will definitely be hearing more about this ministry and we will definitely plan to take families to this event in 2014.

Needless to say, it was a good but tiring weekend. We have been blessed and in turn pray that you will be blessed by the impact God has made on our lives this weekend.

I look forward to listening to the sermon you heard on Sunday morning with Pastor Ty. I have heard lots of great comments and thanks to all of you who texted and tweeted to let us know how things were going and that you loved and missed us. We will get back on track with “The Good Life” this Sunday and I am so excited to be back. There really is no place like home.
