I am in Townsend Tennessee with Dr. Michael Reeves learning more about being an Extravagant Giver. I was invited by The Holston Conference of The United Methodist Church and I am so glad that I accepted their offer. I have been a tither for many years, Misty is great at making sure that we pay our tithe as soon as we get paid two times a month. But, I want to be a Giver, not just a tither. Misty and I both want to be able to give beyond the standard 10%.
It is part of my responsibility and part of my passion to teach my church the blessing and the promises of having a giving heart. Here is a video of Dr. Reeves for you to get a little insight into what I have been blessed to hear this week.
