244 people in worship at Out Of The Box Worship Center today and a fantastic day. It was beautiful and sunny outside and the Son was shining on the inside. We did a Baptismal Remembrance with little Abigail Payne and received her and two more into membership. What an awesome day!
1 Timothy 6:17-19
17 Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 18 Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. 19 By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.
As we look to the future, where God wants to take you as individuals as well as where God wants to take His church as a body, here are some things to remember from today.
God owns it all and we are called to be Generous Stewards of what is His.
We are the rich people of the world.
We are commanded to give.
We are promised what we give will be multiplied and given back to us.
We are to Trust In God (Give out of Faith, not Reason), To Do Good, To Be Rich In Good Works, To Be Generous To Those In Need, To Always Be Ready To Share With Others.
I pray that each of you have an AWESOME week and that you will bring someone with you next week. Invite them and they will come.
