My first thought is to say it was another awesome day but it is more than that. Today has been a day like no other will ever be. There were lives touched today that will be changed forever. There were people in worship that may never have the opportunity to be in another service. Today wasn’t just another awesome day. Today is the day the Lord has made and today was AWESOME. Today the gospel was preached and there is no doubt in my mind that some people for the first time understood that they are forgiven. That my friends is awesome.
290 people in worship, our second Sunday with three worship services , and 90 more than we had in worship one year ago, Wow
We are swimming in the blessing of God. Get in the river with us and lets invite every person in Carroll County to come and experience what only God can do. Only God can offer eternal life. We can create a place and welcome people but unless the Holy Spirit shows up. our work in in vain. I think people who are coming to OOTBWC would agree that God is showing up and showing Himself strong.
Let me take this opportunity to encourage you to invite your family, your neighbors, your coworkers, and everyone that you see. If you invite people they will surprise you and come. If they come and don’t like it, they never have to come back. Just invite them and watch God work.
A few things to remember from today.
God doesn’t use good people, He uses His people.
God uses the Unlikely.
God uses the Insecure.
God uses the Broken.
There isn’t a perfect person in the Bible that God ever used besides Jesus. Jesus is the perfect, sinless, son of God and Jesus offers to be our substitute. God has a work for each of us to do, we are all a unique part of the Body of Christ. Do your part, step out and find out what it is God has for you to do. Get involved at OOTBWC and find your niche.
