Samuel just put my dads old glasses on and said “don’t be sad son I’m right here.”
Yesterday, on the way home from church, Samuel asked whose glasses were in the truck. I am driving my dads pickup and I told him they were Papa’s old glasses. He put them on his face and said “Don’t be sad son, I’m right here.”
Wow, the tears came instantly. Samuel is 5 years old and he amazes me with his words. Then a friend of mine said it was dad speaking through Samuel to let me know, he is still with us. He is not here in body but in spirit dad is still with us. I don’t understand it all, and I know some people will say that’s just crazy. There is no evidence that Samuel was speaking for my dad but I just believe he was. God has given and continues to give me comfort and all comfort comes from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. 4 He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
I am thanking God today for the way he is helping us through this sad time in our lives.

It appears to me that God was speaking through Samuel to bring you much needed comfort. Lost my Dad and best friend 20 years ago. Still miss him and feel his spirit. The pain will fade but the love is forever. God is Great.
