242 people in worship at Out Of The Box Worship Center this morning. It was an awesome worship experience as every week is. Jay has been on vacation this week and Caleb stood in his place, Caleb, Jake, Kris, Ashton, and Leigh Anne all did an outstanding job.
We are having a great summer and attendance has been up since the beginning of June, wow. God is doing a great work in Hillsville and through our people. Thank you for being obedient, thank you for taking a chance, thank you for putting your faith in the Creator of the Universe. God is honoring your faith and obedience.
Be sure and tell someone about the “Myths and Lies” series we are in the midst of. We are going after the truth of what the Bible teaches and we won’t settle for the myths that have been carried through the years, we need to make sure people hear the truth. By the way, hearing the truth will cause people to search even harder to know God and who He is.
Remember some of the things we covered today as you go throughout your week.
Good people don’t go to heaven, God’s people do.
Humans don’t become angels when we die. Humans and angels are two different created beings.
Heaven is NOT boring.
We will have work to do. Work only becomes a job when it is drudgery.
We will eat and drink in heaven.
There will be no more pain or death in heaven.
There will never be the presence of sin in heaven.
But the greatest aspect of heaven, God will be present with us for ETERNITY.
I love you guys a lot and I am enjoying this journey with you. Lets grow the family and we will celebrate even more.
