I am reading “The Secret Message of Jesus” by Brian D. McLaren and I am really enjoying the book. I chose this as one of my books as extra reading for a Seminary class that I have coming up called “The Life of Christ”. It also ended up being the book of the month for our FUMC Book Club.
“The Secret Message” that Brian is talking about is not something that is new so to speak, but it is soemthing that people may have overlooked. Let me ask this question and I would appreciate your feedback. You can either leave a comment here or e-mail me.
Here is the question: Would Jesus have ever taken up arms (guns, knives, etc…..) and gone out and killed another person? For any Reason?
I am excited to start a dialog on this matter.
