I took the boys to school this morning and headed to the coffee shop to study and just get alone with my thoughts. As I was coming down the road I read a church sign that said something to the effect “come on in and find peace, we have the real thing”, then I started noticing all the church signs, there are so many.
It bothers me that I don’t hear people talking about what a major, life changing difference that each of these churches is making in their own community.
Jesus is in Heaven at the right hand of the Father. We are the Church, the Body of Jesus Christ. We represent Jesus in and to the World. We are Jesus body, His hands and feet in this lost and dark world.
Why are we not hearing every day, in the local papers, on the television news stations about the difference these bodies are making?
It really bothers me enough to do something about it, how about you?
