A new Bible for a new U.S. president


I was not aware that our Bishops did this and I think it is an outstanding statement of our Faith in the One True Living God.

Bishop Gregory Palmer, president of the United Methodist Council of Bishops, signs a Holy Bible to be presented to the Palmer signs Biblenext president of the United States. Palmer signed the Bible on Nov. 3, one day before voters were to choose between John McCain and Barack Obama. The Councilof Bishops is meeting Nov. 2-7 in St. Simons Island, Ga.
