I have to be real honest and say that I have been so busy with life that I have had little time to even think about Easter this year. I am excited about the service this morning as Donna is going to be doing a drawing while the music is playing. It is exciting to see how God is using her. I celebrate the Risen Christ and that is what we celebrate this day.
I feel the pain of those who will not celebrate today. The ones in the hospital and rest-homes that I have visited the past couple of weeks. Those like Michael and his sisters who are dealing with the death of John. The list goes on and on.
I celebrate that my larger family will gather together later this evening to share a meal together and just fellowship with each other.
God is good all the time and I pray this Easter that all those who are suffering with physical, mental, or emotional pain from whatever the event in life, will know the love of a Father who truly is in control and He understands everything we are going through. One day He will return and make everything right.
