One thing is for certain, you will not know who Jesus is by looking at pictures that people have painted or sketched of Jesus through the years. Here are a few examples of how people have portrayed Jesus.

When I look at what people have done with pictures and renderings of Jesus it sort of turns my stomach.
Exodus 20:4
4 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea.
I believe that Jesus looks like each of us as His hands and feet we serve those in the world around us. My fear is that people are looking for a Jesus that looks like these depictions and not the real Jesus. Jesus is God and trying to draw him while not having seen him would be a hard task. To say the least, I don’t really like depictions of traditional Jesus. If someone does a drawing of Jesus from their study of Scripture that is great but I don’t like the bobble heads, cheesus etc. at all.
