We are in Atlanta on our annual Youth Mission Trip. As you may know we planned to travel to Mexico this year and that trip was canceled when all the drug issues intensified earlier this year. We really planned this trip last minute and we were blessed to have a contact in the Atlanta area to make the experience happen.
While we are here in Atlanta we are staying with one of our dearest friends, Gary Smith. Gary and I met when I was the Director of Joy Ranch about 15 years ago and we have grown closer since that time. Misty and I count Gary and his family as our family.
Gary has been very gracious and invited us into his home. There are 20 of us staying here in the house with Gary and Skippy the dog. It is a true gift. Gary is part of our work here by allowing us to be in his home. It is my desire to be like Gary when it comes to hospitality.
We have been blessed as we have slept here, cooked out, played and just hung out. We are just minutes from everything in Atlanta. We are forever grateful for your kindness Gary.
