Misty, Kyle, Kenneth and I went to see 2012 last night and about an hour into the movie Misty decided to take Kyle out due to the language. There is some bad language and people going to view the movie need to be aware of it.
The special effects are impressive and the basic unbelievable stunts are there as in most movies made today.
That said I am glad that I went. I do not believe that the movie is a correct representation of what will happen in the end because basically there is a flood that finally causes the demise. However the earth giving way is also responsible for great havoc. I also would not agree that 2012 is necessarily the time the world will end. It could be today!
I do believe that according to the Bible we are headed to a time when the world as we know it will come to a final climax. I cannot tell you that I have it all figured out. One of the things this movie did is to remind me how fragile life is and how important it is that we tell others about Jesus Christ.
I would like to know your thoughts as you get the opportunity to see this movie.
