It has been a great day at the Lake. We have been spiritually fed the Word and we have been physically fed, wow. the food at the Terrace Hotel is very good but the preaching is better. I had the opportunity to walk 2.5 miles around the Lake this afternoon and boy did it feel good to get out there. The marathon in Myrtle Beach is one week from Saturday and it is going to hurt. Just not enough training going on these days.
We spend some time at The Foundation for Evangelism this evening and had a great time of fellowship. I am excited about the work they are doing to spread the Gospel. Harry Denman was the founder of the Foundation and several from the Hillsville congregation have been honored with the Denman Evangelism Award and I am among those who have been honored. We also have Ashton Huff, and Laura Holderfield from the Hillsville congregation.
My hat is off to those who take the command to share the gospel to heart and then put legs on it.
