Change the World: BE. GO. DO. is a new 4-week sermon series for July based on the scripture, Romans 12: 1-2 NRSV, that will help you think about what it means to change the world choice by choice.
1-2 “I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

During the month of July, I am going to ask you questions and challenge you to not let the world influence you in your decisions, but, to let God lead you as you discern how to BE, GO and DO for Christ.
So, how are you and God doing? What do you hear God urging you to do, be or change?
We are going to talk about how to BE the change you seek; how to live out the changes that God wants to make in your life, family, church and community. How often have you thought or said, “Somebody needs to DO something about that…”? Well, guess what? That “somebody” is YOU! I am going to encourage you to GO and serve beyond your comfort zone and ask God to direct you to share an act of God’s grace and love with people to whom you might not pay attention otherwise. Are you ready to step out in faith to BE, GO and DO for Christ; to strengthen your faith as you become a servant of God and yield to God’s will?
Come to Out Of The Box Worship Center in July and explore your heart as you seek His will and ask yourself these questions? What can I do to help? How can I go and serve? Whom shall I comfort? I pray that God will touch your heart, open your eyes and ears so that together we will go out and change the world, starting right here on Main Street in Hillsville, Va. Let’s do this!
