On Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 at 6:30p.m. Out Of The Box on Main Street in Hillsville will be having a youth rally for See You At The Pole. The evening will start out with the OOTB Praise Band followed by speaker Evan Nester, a local high school student. Following the message, pizza will be served.
We would like to invite everyone out to join us on this afternoon of prayer, worship, and fellowship.
See You at the Pole, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.
See You at the Pole is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. See You at the Pole is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.
The actually event takes place on September 28th. The rally helps to bring awareness to the national event itself.
