BOLD Week 3 – BOLD Speaking

The Sermon 1199781723

BOLD—Week 3

BOLD SPEAKING

WE SPEAK BOLDLY ABOUT WHAT WE BELIEVE DEEPLY.

Boldness is behavior born out of belief.

So Saul…moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord. Acts 9:28

At Iconium Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue. There they spoke so effectively that a great number of Jews and Gentiles believed. But the Jews who refused to believe stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers.

So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldlyfor the Lord… Acts 14:1-3

…And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Acts 4:31

We speak Boldly about what we believe Deeply.

BOLD SPEAKING

“What are we going to do with these men?” they asked. “Everybody living in Jerusalem knows they have done an outstanding miracle, and we cannot deny it. 17 But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this name.” 18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God. 20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:16-20

BECAUSE I BELIEVE SO DEEPLY

  • I CAN’T HELP BUT SPEAK BOLDLY TO Myself.

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him…but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

1 Samuel 30:6 KJV

  • I CAN’T HELP BUT Encourage YOU.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today…

Hebrews 3:13

  • I CAN’T HELP BUT LOVINGLY Correct YOU.

Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.

Proverbs 27:6

  • I CAN’T HELP BUT LEAD YOU TOWARD Christ.

For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard. Acts 4:20

If you don’t speak BOLDLY, maybe it’s because you don’t believe deeply.
