A letter from Pastor Ronnie to Out Of The Box WC: November 11, 2012

Hello OOTBWC,

Wow is about all the vocabulary I have when it comes to being in worship at Out Of The Box Worship Center. Just when you think you have seen the best experience yet, it gets better. The music was off the charts this morning. I mean “Man Of Constant Sorrows”, and then “Swing Low Sweet Chariot.” All of the music was great but we did these two just to be different. Different for Out Of The Box.

The message was “Go And Do Something Different” and we wanted to illustrate that for you in every way possible. I don’t ever want to get to the point that we can’t change something about the service. Either the type of music, the number of songs, the length of the message, you name it. If it gives people the gospel, I’m all for it. We don’t ever want to get sealed inside the box at Out Of The Box.

The joy on your faces today let us know that you were blessed and fueled for a new week and that was our goal.

We broke a record this morning with 261 people in worship attendance in the two services. I know, people sometimes question why we count. We count because Jesus counted. We always get the numbers from Jesus. Just this morning we got the exact number of fish the disciples caught when they listened to Jesus and “did something different”, 153. Every number has a name, every name has a story, and every number and name are loved by God. Numbers are important.

By the way, the numbers are also important when it comes to how we are doing in reaching our community for Christ. 261 is still a long way from 26,000 but we are working toward that. I am just crazy enough to believe that we will reach that 26,000. Do I believe that we will have all 26,000 come to churches throughout the county in one week? I believe it can happen and if I didn’t believe this, I would go get another job.

I love you guys a whole lot and Jesus does too and we want you to know that.
