Maybe the best Bible Study I will read all year…

the shadow of a doubt

Doubts are something that all believers in Christ deal with at various times in our lives and maybe there are always some underlying doubts present. In “The Shadow Of A Doubt,” Talbot Davis deals with every aspect of doubt.

Why we doubt. The good quality of doubt. The result of doubt when we choose to follow and then get the understanding.

Moses was asked to follow without knowing the details, Noah was asked to follow without knowing the details of how things would come to pass. The list of people in the Bible who were asked to follow first goes on and on and it ALWAYS worked for the best in the end. It is a principle that runs through scripture. Follow first, then comprehension follows.

There is definite help here if you find yourself in a season of doubt and it would make a great gift to a friend, maybe someone who has struggled and you could walk through this journey with them. Maybe restoring them to the faith in a God who is sometimes inconvenient, and unpredictable, yet madly in love with each one of us.
