For a pastor doing pastoral counseling, this book is number one on my list for couples. The book is practical and starts from a biblical foundation for marriage and the need to work things through. There is a strong basis in the book to show that marriages will be better if the couple first have a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. A couple needs to be rooted and grounded in a church family but more than this, they need to be actively involved. Another great tool for couples is accountability. Everyone needs people who will hold them accountable. Check out this book, outstanding!
