When we got to the medical center yesterday the staff gave this stuffed animal to Samuel to help comfort him. The amazing thing is that it is a replica of a larger elephant Samuel has and sleeps with that he names Cracker. He named this one Cheesy Cracker. They also gave him lots of stickers and Samuel bandaged Cheesy Cracker with them.
Samuel is doing great after the surgery, thank you all for the many prayers said on our behalf. He had a great night sleep and I am sure he is going to feel better soon.
