Day 32 and Waiting On The Lord

Today is day 32 in the 40 Days of Fasting. It is hard to comprehend now what all I am learning during this time of waiting on the Lord. I went out yesterday intending to walk to the post office and back, which is about a mile and the weather was so beautiful and I felt so good that I decided to go further. I ended up walking about 3.3 miles. In that time I was thinking “God, I’m not really praying today as I feel I should be. It was then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “waiting is important.” Sometimes we forget and do all the talking and never wait to listen and I had done that.

I am seeing miracles happen all around me and in my own family during this 40 days of waiting. No doubt God is at work and I can’t wait to see what happens throughout 2012, I believe it is going to be a record year for people being saved and finding Christ in Carroll county and throughout Holston.

I went for a checkup at my Physicians office yesterday and everything checked out great. I told Misty, just to be real honest I wanted my Dr. to say, “you really need to eat” but he didn’t. He said all of my vital signs are great, the weight I have lost is great, I’m healthy after going without food for 32 days. We are so spoiled. We have come into the promised land, we have eaten and become full and we have forgotten God.
