Here is were we stand with the expansion of Out of the Box in Downtown Hillsville. We have signed the agreement to buy the 2 buildings that we now partially occupy and have for 5 years. The bank has approved our loan to make the purchase and we have been blessed with $119,010.00 so far, toward the purchase of the building and the cost of closing the loan. Estimates from contractors and equipment are at almost $70,000, this amount will get us in the space and ready to worship with close to 1,000 people on Easter Sunday. Wow God is good!
We need you to participate in seeing this miracle through. Our team has created an envelope system that will give everyone the opportunity to be a part of this momentous event. The picture above will give you a glimpse of what you will see when you come to worship at Out of the Box tomorrow and over the next several weeks. There are giving amounts on each of the envelopes, ranging from $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, 500, and $1,000. We don’t want these amounts to limit anyone so please pray about what God would have you to give and take an envelope. These gifts can be returned in the regular Sunday morning offering and when all of the envelopes are returned we will have the needed amount for our expansion miracle.
This is just a simple way that everyone can take part in what God is doing through the ministries of Out of the Box UMC. Tomorrow, January 3rd, 2016 is our 5 year anniversary and we are going to celebrate.
