“God’s solution comes in two words that Jesus Spoke during the first days of His ministry: “Follow Me”. He issued the “follow me” call throughout His ministry on earth. Then when Jesus rose from the grave he continued to say “follow me.” That is the crux of Christianity. Not “let’s do lunch.” NOT “please form a social club.”
The name “Christian” has been terribly cheapened and degraded. If I’m a follower of Jesus Christ, then I’ve left everything to follow Him. I’m someone who maintains the mind-set of a servant. I’m someone who looks for community with God and with God’s people”.
